Time for a quick run down of what I’ve painted over the last week before we celebrate a new ‘Whats on the Paint Desk’
this week I’ve painted this lot
Salute 2016 ‘Madam’ model – This is the model that was given away at Salute this year, I managed to get hold of a copy via Jame who’s a listener to Meeples and Miniatures. the model is sculpted by Andy at Westwind Miniatures so its fantastic as you’d expect. I’ve gone for a purple and brown colour palette and am really happy with how its turned out
Highlander Center Company – I’ve wanted to expand my Highland infantry force for Sharp Practice so the first step is to paint up an extra 4 center company figures, then I can start on the remaining 12 grenadiers next week
Early War Germans – one of my main projects for this year is to do some 20mm armies covering the German invasion of Belgium and France in 1940,. this week I’ve finished off the core force and have started on the support units.
Bell UH-1 Iroquois – this weeks distraction is a 15mm Huey thats been half painted for 3 years. its always nice to clear something off the To-Do pile and I’m really happy with how its come out
