Small Distractions – The Lead Pile

After going through my 4 remaining Epic armies and posting pictures of them on here, I decided to delve into my lead pile and see what I have to add to the armies. I’ve already taken pictures of my unpainted squat units (it’s here) but I knew I had more stuff and all I had to do was find it.

eventually I pulled out a small box marked with the word ‘Epic’ and opened it up

going through it found many interesting things like, some bases (always useful) yes these are the proper bases none of those 40×10 bases that are popular with the kids

a few Titans and Knights to add to the remaining few I have left, I think I need to swap out the weapons as Warhounds are much better when armed with anti infantry guns

a single Ork Flakwagon that is pretty useless at the moment

Some blisters of IG Storm Troopers, Characters, some more Ork vehicles and Objectives

some random Marine figures and vehicles

a Hellbore tunneler, which I think I picked up 10 years ago to convert into a squat version

and finally and possibly most excitingly is a load of Eldar figures

which means I could make an Eldar army to replace the one I used to have but lost about 15 years ago when I lent it out and never got it back.

now that would be an interesting little project

Not sure I have ever been jealous of a lead pile before!
