Runewars – Whats in the Box

a little while ago I ordered a copy of Runewars, the new game by Fantasy Flight set in the Runebound universe and today right on time it arrived from Firestorm games.

so I thought I would do a quick unboxing to show people what they get

first up is the box

which when opened has this inside

so we get 3 books describing the rules of the game

and below that is a pack of card stock (hey its FFG they always do card stock and its always good quality)

then you get some cards (again its FFG so you expect them right)

and some dice, bases and bits to hold the unit dials together. I do like the bases, I know some people really don’t but for me they work ok

finally the bits we all want to see the figures. you get 40 infantry, 4 cavalry and 2 large monsters and 2 commanders

here’s the Rune Golem as it comes

and assembled (this is just pushed together no glue needed)

I’ll be putting the models together tomorrow so will post pictures of them then so you can get a better idea of what they look like

Thanks for putting this together. So what’s the material of the minis like? Imperial Assault-y?
