40K Dark Angels – Part 2

Following on from my last post (it’s here) its time to carry on with my audit of my Dark Angel army for 40K

After covering the HQ and elite units I think we should look at the backbone of the army the infantry and some vehicles

Tactical Squad 1

This is squad 3 and it contains 12 figures which is more than I need, but it allows me to swap and change figures in the unit

and here’s their transport

Tactical Squad 2

and here’s a second squad (number 6) again it has more troops than I need but it allows for some swapping and changing

and some transport

Devastator Squad

next we have a Devastator squad once again with lots of extra heavy weapons to allow flexibility in list creation

the is no transport for this squad as I tend to try and keep Dev’s in a defended position and let them blast away at anything they can see

Assault Squad

only a 5 man squad this time as I got distracted with other stuff

Scout Squad

These come under the category of ‘Blast From the Past’

These are the original space marine scouts that came out in the 90’s and I had some and just wanted to use them again so here they are

Dreadnought

this is the plastic Dreadnought with some extra Dark Angel bits attached

Land Raider

and finally the Space Marine equivalent of a Tiger II, the Land Raider. its big and shooty and can also transport 10 Space marines or 5 Terminators.

and thats it, one Dark Angel army ready to use, join me next time when I go through whats left in the lead pile for this army

Cheers Shaun, I decided to keep the colour schemes simple so its a grey/black colour with gun metal and gold highlights
