Painting Progress – Bossonian Archers

it’s been a while since I did one of these posts but I’m once again back painting Conan miniatures and this week I’ve worked on the Bossonian Archers that come in the core box

the Bossonian Marches are part of Aquilonia and border the Pictish Wilderness, this area is famed for its archers and people from this area appear in a few of Howards stories

there are 5 figures in the core set that are all the same sculpt, unfortunatly I forgot to take a picture of the bare plastic so you’ll just have to imagine

as they are meant to be figures from a wilderness area I decided to go for a limited palette using mostly greens and brown with a brass colour on the armour (a running theme in many of the Conan figures)
